Burn Out
A fiery spark lit
fan those flames
til they reach higher higher higher
and then keep them
burning fierce
feed it, fan it
voracious appetite
burn baby burn
keep the whole world warm
and brightly lit
eyes open, alert
who else needs warmth?
where to next?
burn → out.
What if we burn...
...in?
embers glowing
low and slowing
dark and knowing
re-minded, re-bodied
here and now
sink → in.
