My Therapeutic Approach
My training and experience allow me to work with you in an integrative, collaborative way rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach. This is especially valuable where mental and physical health overlap, where trauma may be present, or where cultural background and diversity are important to honour. I am passionate about holistic, trauma-sensitive care that supports the whole person and recognises the connection between mind, body and lived experience.

I draw on contemporary therapies and mindfulness-based approaches, including Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness-informed CBT, humanistic therapy and somatic mind-body practices. Integrating Eastern contemplative traditions with contemporary neuroscience, I offer accessible and compassionate practices that support greater openness, resilience and wellbeing across the biological, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions of health.

    Values-based care plan

Together we’ll create a values-based care plan working at a pace that gives you time to feel comfy in discussing concerns with an integration of practices if you wish that lead to a variety of benefits in mind and body.

    Transition when you're ready

Sessions are agreed with opportunity for reviews along with an ending so that engagement and transition from therapy is in collaboration.

What sessions could include

Alongside talking therapy, you may choose to include:

  • gentle yoga practices

  • gentle breath practice

  • mindfulness meditation

  • somatic and embodied approaches

  • grounding and nervous system regulation techniques

  • compassion-focused practices

These practices are always adapted to your needs and experience.
The aim is not performance or flexibility, but helping you reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom, safety and support.

Thank you for being an incredible ‘lifeline’ over the past few years. Your compassion and kindness, combined with your skill create such a healing and safe place to cope. I am blessed to have had your support. Those yet to meet you have no idea of the immeasurable support coming their way.
